You can check the GPU usage in the Task Manager; it's 10-15% depending on the video resolution. But if you disable the magical "YouTube Audio Mode" and manually lower the resolution to 144p, GPU usage drops to 0.4%.
It simply displays a static image, but the entire video continues to consume resources in the background. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Иван Царик, hace 17 días

YouTube Audio Mode solves a real problem for anyone who wants to listen without wasting bandwidth on video. Audio-only mode works with one click, and the extension automatically lowers video quality without affecting audio playback.
What I liked:
Significant data savings.
Clean, modern UI with a pleasant visualizer.
Clear statistics showing saved bandwidth and listening time.
Smooth integration with YouTube, no interruptions or reloads.
The extension is lightweight, privacy-respecting, and requires minimal permissions. Perfect for Quran, lectures, and podcasts
