• youtube.com pages — to enhance the video player (the only host permission requested)
• browser.storage.sync — to save your preferences (aspect ratio, subtitle style, etc.) and sync them across your devices via Firefox's built-in sync. This data never touches our servers — it stays in Firefox's sync infrastructure.
