Doesn't work i still get the stupid youtube search recommendation list

Like some other reviewers have said, it is not removing shorts. I have every "short" option enable in settings, refreshed youtube, reloaded browser several times, etc. My youtube page looks the same as before, and the "stats" for the extention say "0 unwanted sections cleaned so far." For some indiscernible reason, the extension seems to be nonfunctional. I'll update if something changes.

I really have been wanting to get rid of the obtrusive and offensive horizontal list of shorts that come up every time I open youtube. This extension is supposed to help with that, but unfortunately I cannot tell whether it does anything at all, as the shorts are still there. I did check it at the filter settings of the extension and also clicked F5 to reset youtube. I would like to know how to get it to work.

Find selected tag, and look for video
You see shorts
Disable shorts (again)
you still see them
reload
you still see them
uninstall addon

I think it should be more clear what the options do

I get sucked into shorts so easily, infinite scrolling on any platform really is the crux of my attention span. The legacy shorts page setting of this extension, which lets me view one short of interest as if it is a traditional youtube video and ends like a traditional youtube video, is incredible. I get to dabble in the exact thing I clicked on and it ends and I return to making my own choices for videos rather than the algorithm. I really appreciate how this extension returns the power of my own browsing experience back to me.

Sometimes as youtube updates, features of the extension don't work for a little bit, but I understand that youtube updates *constantly* and that this is run by a single developer. Keeping up with all the changes is probably a mess, and you're only one human. To the dev, thank you so much for this.
