    You make a name for yourself first then you spam the user to give you money, there are better free alternatives than adblock plus, go with ublock

    Uninstalled, this was due to the INCESSANT "your adblock has been updated, please give us money" messages. Funny, the app to block popups, generating popups that are annoying.

    We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing. We don't track who has previously paid unless your extension is already upgraded to Adblock Plus Premium (and in that case we won't show you the update page at all). If you are encountering the payment page every time you open your browser, please reach out to us via sour support form: If those steps don't help, please submit a support request and we'll be happy to assist you: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/requests/new.

    Maliciously opens tabs often to advertise itself, begging user to choose a subscription plan. There are free alternatives that do the job better.

    Developer claims they're updating the addon though that's the entire problem: every update ends with the browser being hijacked to load a self-promoting ad begging for donations. As I implied, this is a thoroughly pointless addon anyway as others get the job done without begging.

    I don't know how this happened, but in the last three-ish years of using my current PC, AdBlock plus has managed to block 856,117 ads in the midst of roaming through various articles, whitepapers, emails, and more. 10/10 (or rather, 5/5), will recommend to a friend.

    I have used AB+ for years as cannot stand intrusive ads just because I looked at something once. I cannot finacially helpthis time but I want to give a 5* review for these good guys.

    Working well at present except for "Total Adblock" pop-ups. They continue over and over.
