Hope this helps anyone who sees it. Many sites stopped working after the 4 Aug update, but I managed to get them working again after going into the extension settings, Filters tab, and turning off the Security filter. The Ad filter continues to work fine.

Youtube blocks playback now, if you have it activated on their site, uninstalling, I'll have to look for alternative

Like everyone else has said, the new update just completely ruined my online experience. Half of the websites I use won't load and I've just decided to remove this ad blocker entirely.

4th Aug23 issue, cannot play vdo on youtube or other stream web. It's just loading rolling. When disable extension. Vdo work as usual. Please fix this. Thanks.

End of an era... This worked really amazing for a long time but suddenly, today, it blocks most websites from working at all now. Just a big cat and mouse game. Stupid corporations love to spend $10 to try and save $1. Just leave folks alone already. We don't want your ads, end of story.

As others have said, whatever was done in the recent update has messed up everything. I can't even view emails or use Google properly with the add-on enabled. Please fix this! It used to be great :(

*Edit* The fix for this issue seems to be removing then re-adding the extension. Everything is working as it should again so I changed my review to 5 stars as the problem seems to have been caused by the recent Firefox update and is not the developer's fault.

Doesn't work anymore on youtube as of 4th of August 2023. It makes the video unplayable, only solution is deactivating it. Looks like google has finally caught on.

Whatever recent update / change was made has broken many, many sites. Some sites don't load at all, leaving a blank page. Some sites load some content and fail to load the rest. AdBlocker used to be a great add-on, but someone did something to break nearly every site on the Internet when this tool is enabled. Someone at AdAvoid needs to review the most recent change and undo it.

No idea what you did in your newest update, but you screwed it completely, incorrect scaling in websites, can't even press enter on a google search unless I disable it.

Great extension, but today it started to break sites and I have problems with most of the ones that play videos, like Youtube or netflix etc. We need a fix for this.

A good ad blocker.
Sadly with Firefox 116.0.1 it prevents many pages from loading properly.
I hope the developer updates the extension so that is works properly.

I've been using this adblocker for ages and it's been fantastic, however recently it's been completely breaking sites. At first, I thought this was a change made by google, as youtube and google calendar were the first things I noticed, however it's also affected unrelated sites like trello, pillowfort, and tumblr. I've had to disable it on about half the websites I use, and rely on other adblockers when I didn't before.

would be pretty good if it didn't break my email service entirely and ignoring the whitelist. can't use proton services with this extension enabled. doesn't matter if the domains are added to the whitelist. if this extension is turned on, the entire site gets blocked.

Uninstall and then reinstall to fix the issues with the addon. It still functions as normal once you do.
