The new UI is a disaster. Before, I knew exactly what I wanted to block and what not. Now I'm being patronized. That's why I'm still using version 8.12.13 with the automatic updates turned off.

Its the first thing I install on every browser or device I use. This is the sixth time I have installed it on a new browser and I will do it again. Also the fact that its free!

I used this while I used Firefox as my browser. It did what it said it would do, has an intuitive user interface and lets you easily see what it is doing.
I recommend it for folks still using Firefox.

I've been using Ghostery for about 4 years now, really useful to not get flooded by ads.
My father recommended me this to get rid of trackers, wasn't sure about how useful it was to install that kind of extension. Right now I don't feel comfy going on Firefox without my ghostery active.
Really love the feature that refuses cookies on every single page. Prevents me to find the little "continue without accepting", that annoying windows just goes off and you're free to navigate on their website without sending your datas.

No lie, the first thing I do whenever I install a new Linux OS or reset an Android phone is install ghostry on the browser. Hands down, the best of it's kind.

I've been using Ghostery for 7 years already and I can say that it saved me from a couple of unwanted ads, popups, trackers...

Was an AdBlocker user from Windows XP on. Switched to Ghostery when I started using Mozilla instead of IE11. Runs quietly and does it's job. Still compatible on Win7 Pro 64 platform. Computing is flawless and so is privacy.

Why did the developer or developers decide to do one of the dumbest redesigns? I don't buy the based on user input BS. Typical statement made by poor developer design. Yes I've done website and app design. Put the "Pause Ghostery" button back when you click on the icon. It's quicker vs going into the settings. Like why? I need to be able to quickly toggle the pause frequently and now it's more clicks for zero reasons. I can still pause my UBlock Origin that way right on the icon click. But in it's place you tell the user where to go find it. We want the pause button back!

I don't even remember when I started using Ghostery. It's been so useful that I just forget that it's even there.
