We are aware that YouTube is currently testing anti-adblock notifications for some users with ad blockers installed. We are looking for the best way to address this, however, Youtube is quick to find their way around our strategies. You may see a variety of different behaviors such as a temporary black screen or a very brief display of an ad. These are related to our efforts to prevent the anti-adblock wall from appearing for you.


Anti-adblock walls have long been an issue for all ad blockers, not just ours. While we do believe that content providers should have the right to decide how you interact with their page (or opt not to, if you choose not to continue to patronize them), we know YouTube's walls are particularly troubling to many of our users.


We are hoping to find a way to address this, but for now, our best option is to allow ads for the YouTube site. To temporarily disable ABP, just click on your ABP icon > tog the blue button to off (it will turn gray) > refresh the page.
