    This doesn't even work properly. Doesn't block ads on twitch AT ALL. Why even use this if it doesn't actually block ads.

    You shouldn't be seeing ads, regardless if you pay for Premium or not. If you are suddenly seeing ads, please try the steps in this article: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/articles/23213105628691-What-to-do-if-you-are-seeing-ads.     You make a name for yourself first then you spam the user to give you money, there are better free alternatives than adblock plus, go with ublock

    Uninstalled, this was due to the INCESSANT "your adblock has been updated, please give us money" messages. Funny, the app to block popups, generating popups that are annoying.

    We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing. We don't track who has previously paid unless your extension is already upgraded to Adblock Plus Premium (and in that case we won't show you the update page at all).     Maliciously opens tabs often to advertise itself, begging user to choose a subscription plan. There are free alternatives that do the job better.

    Developer claims they're updating the addon though that's the entire problem: every update ends with the browser being hijacked to load a self-promoting ad begging for donations. As I implied, this is a thoroughly pointless addon anyway as others get the job done without begging.

    I don't know how this happened, but in the last three-ish years of using my current PC, AdBlock plus has managed to block 856,117 ads in the midst of roaming through various articles, whitepapers, emails, and more. 10/10 (or rather, 5/5), will recommend to a friend.
