It's a shame that it now requires an external application to function, I can't use it anymore.

Just discovered Buttercup. Wow! What a great password manager!

I've tried most of the majors, but I think this one is a keeper.

Apart from the fact that it is open-source, the feature I like most is that you can choose where you want to store your (encrypted) password archive file, and how you want to access it.

Two thumbs up to the developers!

I have evaluated TONS of password managers. Buttercup has ticked almost all my boxes. This is one of the most featured self hosted pw managers. We use this as a team to share a central vault. We also each have individual vaults. We have been using this in our small business for more than 1 year. We also support BC financially. Keep up the good work!

Idée pour le futur:
Ce serait génial de pouvoir également pouvoir synchroniser nos mots de passe en P2P pour se passer totalement de coud ;)

Excellent extension. The big advantage is that we can save our passwords on Nextcloud, Owncloud, Dropbox, Webdav. This deserves 5 stars :)

Great extension for multiplatform password manager (Linux, OSX, Win). Alternative for KeePass users and KeeFox extension.

Along with its desktop (linux here) version, this is one of the best password manager to be : open source, no fuss, simple, clean. There's a lot of potential for this app and the firefox extension, but it seems too young to be usable as of now (no sync between desktop and extension ?). Still, I can't wait to see next features. Thank you for this !

Still young but promising extension. Can be connected to Seafile webDAV server easily.

J'ai bien crée un une archive dans mon compte owncloud. Mais lorsque je souhaite ajouter la source via l'extension, la pop-up s'ouvre mais ne charge pas mon espace owncloud. Il est donc impossible de sélectionner l'archive.

I created an archive in my owncloud account. But when I want to add the source by extension, the pop-up opens but doesn't load my owncloud space. It's therefore impossible to select the archive.
