Claude.ai OLED Dark Full black tekijä Dodo

Claude's built-in dark theme uses a soft #1F1F1E grayish background. On OLED screens that's wasted contrast and wasted battery.

This extension replaces it with a true #000000 canvas — sidebar, chat area, and artifact preview panel all flip to pure OLED black. The chat composer keeps a faint elevation so it still pops, and borders are bumped up so cards, dividers, and the artifact resize handle remain clearly visible. Hover states flash to white so interactive elements are obvious against the deep black.

How it works
The extension injects a CSS file at document_start that overrides Claude's HSL background tokens and adds targeted rules for popovers, the composer, code blocks, and the artifact panel. A tiny content script keeps the page in dark mode if the site tries to flip it back to light.
