Privacy Policy for Cobra Speed Board

Cobra Speed Board is a Firefox extension created by MedCode. The extension replaces the Firefox new tab page with a customizable speed board.

Cobra Speed Board stores the user’s boards, sections, shortcuts, visual settings, language settings, theme settings, shortcut thumbnails, and local wallpaper cache in the user’s browser.

The extension communicates with the MedCode server only when required for online features such as license verification, account/session handling, Premium access, cloud backup, restore, and Premium wallpaper metadata/downloads.

Depending on the feature used, the transmitted data may include:
- license token,
- session token or authorization token,
- account identifier or email address if the user signs in or activates a license,
- extension ID and extension version,
- browser/platform information,
- device identifier generated by the extension,
- device name,
- board backup data, including boards, sections, shortcut titles, shortcut URLs, thumbnails, and related metadata,
- selected Premium wallpaper collection,
- requests for Premium wallpaper metadata and files.

Cloud backup is optional and available to Premium users. If cloud backup is used, board data may be transmitted to and stored on the MedCode server. Backup data may include shortcut URLs, shortcut titles, board structure, sections, thumbnails, backup type, creation time, local revision, device ID, and last local change time.

Premium wallpapers are not bundled with the extension package. They are downloaded from the MedCode server only after Premium license verification. The extension downloads only the wallpaper needed for the current day and may cache it locally to reduce repeated downloads. Premium wallpapers are not included in cloud backups.

MedCode does not sell user data and does not share user data with advertisers.

Data is used only to provide Cobra Speed Board functionality, including account/license verification, Premium access, cloud backup and restore, device-aware backup metadata, Premium wallpaper delivery, technical support, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.

Communication with the MedCode server uses HTTPS. License and session tokens are used to authenticate requests. Users should not share their license tokens with others.

Users can use the free local version without cloud backup, disable Premium wallpapers, delete local extension data through browser settings, delete backups when available, or request data deletion by contacting MedCode.
