EdgeEver Web Clipper processes the current page title, URL, selected content, or extracted article body only when the user chooses to save it. The configured EdgeEver instance URL, API token, and default notebook are stored in the browser's local extension storage.

The extension sends clipped content and the API token directly to the self-hosted EdgeEver instance selected by the user. EdgeEver's project maintainers operate no relay or centralized service that receives or retains this data. The extension contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry, and data is not sold or shared with third parties.
