    Simple to use, just set it and forget it.
    Works without any issues, but you might need to give a little thought about the 'folder' settings, but it's just a little 5-minute experiment at max when you are new to it.

    Love this add-on and use it extensively!

    Minor issue: The current version deletes the name of a folder named "0" (just the digit "zero"), making it an unnamed folder.

    Thank you for providing this great add-on.

    Just a short test with Nextcloud.
    A lot of bookmarks were shown, but the most important were gone.
    Not really usefull in practice.

    It's not compatible with mobile browsers (Iceraven). I can't import from Google Drive

    Hello Kadircan,

    Firefox for Android will soon support floccus, until then you can use the Android or iOS apps to sync with an in-app bookmarks directory inside the app. Syncing with Google Drive should work again with the latest version.

    As an open source project, wanted to like Floccus so much, but serious issues affect data security and privacy.

    Namely, some users express dismay that ambiguous sync setting have seen years of bookmarks disappear.

    From a privacy perspective, there is also an issue raised where bookmarks are synced in unencrypted plain text.

    The author has explained they are too busy to address issues and as an open source project invited others to not just raise issues but also help fix them.

    Fair enough, but for now this addon should not be used by those concerned about unintended data loss or privacy.

    Your comment includes some untruths that I'd like to rectify.

    I am not "too busy to address issues". I intend too look into all issues, which also what my auto-response says, but may not always do so in a timely manner, because I have a job.

    You cite open issues that have been opened several months after the current version of this software has been released. This, to me, suggests that these involve some form user error. This is not why I haven't looked into them, I will, but it should give you pause about suggesting this addon to not be used by those concerned about unintended data loss or privacy.

    I wish you all the best. Maybe you will try floccus after all :)

    Es mag ja sein, dass die funktioniert, immerhin soll sie - auf dem Papier - Chromium und Firefox verbinden.

    Aber, der Einrichtungsvorgang, und die verschiedenen Fragen nach der Ordnerstruktur, haben sich mir nicht erschlossen, und dass führte letztlich dazu, dass auf meinen beiden Rechnern, deren Browser ich mit meiner Nextcloud-App synchen wollte, ALLE TAPS, JE LESEZEICHEN-ORDER geöffnet worden sind, was meine Maschine fast hätte zusammenbrechen lassen.

    Ich habe zuletzt, bei der Einrichtung eine Auswahl getroffen (Reiter synchen), von der ich hoffte, dass keine Lesezeichendatei angelegt werden muss, sondern nur die Reiter abgeglichen werden.

    Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: ich bin normal blöd/ klug und habe es nicht hinbekommen (trotz Versuch die Schritte der Einrichtung auf http://floccus.org/ zu befolgen.

    I'm sorry you couldn't intuit how to set the settings correctly. This may be an issue with the German translation. I will look into this.

    Really good i can now use more different browsers and sync my bookmarks more private with nextcloud great!
