This is a shame as it's something that should be built into Firefox.

Doesn't work reliably. When works, results in noticeable flickering(*).
(*) I suspect that it's because it allows "default" tab selection to be done first.

"Select After Closing Current" seems to be a better choice: works reliably so far and flickering is less(*)
(*) though it also seems to be not able to completely prevent default tab selection

Funktioniert leider nur in 9 von 10 Fällen (wenn z.B. ein Tab im Hintergrund geöffnet wird und der aktive Tab geschlossen wird geht er manchmal nur zum rechten Tab).
Das Add-On wechselt genau so wie bei den Konkurrenzbrowsern erst zum rechten Tab und springt dann in den linken.
Einziger Browser der das nativ ohne Add-On kann ist vivaldi dafür staucht der FF aber nicht die Tableiste bis ins unendliche.

Ich denke nicht das ein Add-On diese Funktionalität je besser bewerkstelligen kann als jetzt da der Unterbau es einfach nicht zulässt.
