Highlight text is a Firefox add-on that lets you mark, save, and revisit important parts of any webpage. Whether you're researching, studying, or skimming articles, it helps you keep track of what matters most - all while staying private and distraction-free.

Highlight text allows you to:
→ Select any sentence or paragraph and apply a visual highlight with one click
→ View all saved highlights in a persistent sidebar for easy review
→ Restore accidentally removed highlights with the undo feature
→ Export your selections as PDF or DOC for notes and reports
→ Works on most websites and PDFs viewed in Firefox
→ Toggle blank highlight text mode for drafting or clean markup

Smart selection tools:
→ Select any text and instantly search it on Google with the search icon
→ Double-click a domain to auto-select the full address
→ Open the selected domain in a new tab with the “Go” button
→ Copy any selected text or domain to your clipboard with one click

This add-on requests only essential permissions:
activeTab – to interact with the current page when highlighting
storage – to save your highlights locally
tabs – to manage highlights across different pages
scripting – to apply visual marks safely
