While the desktop client has worked fine, the browser extension is consistently broken and buggy. Every update breaks the extension, requiring that you reinstall and enter your login information. In this last update, I was getting a 404 error every time I entered my login info, making it impossible to login even after reinstalling. Fix your broken extension Nord.

They removed the ability to have a simple proxy on Firefox and forced users to get the Firefox extension. This would be fine except the Firefox extension does not work at all. Absolute garbage. I don't know how developers haven't fixed the issues with this extension. Whenever you contact NordVPNs support, they tell you to use Chrome or just use the Desktop app. How about fix your garbage extension or make it possible to just use a proxy again.

This extension doesn't work with Firefox. Once you are logged in and connected to a server, the websites gives a connection error. After chatting with Live Chat team, there was no resolution reached. It is better to stick to the Desktop App over the extension.Kehittäjän vastaus

And there's good reason for that. This is one of the better, even 'premium', VPNs out there. And yes, their service is fast. But it comes with several pains. This Firefox extension is pathetic. At it's best, it asks you to keep logging in, fails often, fails to load pages often, and the window is distorted (it keeps getting elongated!). At it's worst, well, it crashes and takes Firefox along with it.
It should be clear by now that this is not an isolated incident - something that can be resolved by customer service. This is an issue from the development of the extension - which needs to be sorted.
The Windows app (and phone apps) work well, but they're pretty heavy and battery hungry. So I wish this browser extension would 'just work' - but it doesn't.Kehittäjän vastaus

Sometimes it doesn't autoconnect, other times the internet connection stop working because of the app and I have to manually disconnect or reset the connection. There are times that I can't even log in because their log-in interface doesn't work. I don't like it and I'll be switching to another provider when my subscription ends.
