This addon finally took me to the latest release of Firefox, the 60th! I had been sticking with a old one, Firefox 56, because no available replacements for tab-grouping addons seemed to exist. I am very very grateful that this idea was re-implemented in the newest version of Firefox and would push the developer(s) to improve and refine it more.

Improvements and fixes suggestions as to 25/05/2018:
1. Tab hiding doesn't seem to work quite well. I have switched between two groups using the CTRL+w key and their tabs have been shuffled all together, that is a merge was formed.
2. The Panorama view could be implemented without opening a new tab. That would feel much more tidy.

Addendum #1:
I found a fix to point 1.! Open the preferences page at about:config and look for the extensions.webextensions.tabhide.enabled configuration. Set it to true and let the plugin work as it should.

Addendum #2:
Would you mind adding an auto-backup feature? Too many a time have I crashed my browser and lost all of my tabs. Having no backup at hand, and no way of restoring my previous windows session, I had to start over collecting and organizing my tabs.

    Lost all of my open tabs. Clicked the Panorama View icon, and was left with a totally blank page. The manage extension options says I have 136 tabs but none are visible. The button to Save/Backup does nothing at all. Every time I click back onto the Panorama tab, all my open tabs vanish. It's gone rogue! How can I get them back?

    It has been 3 times now over the past year where I am lost all of my tabs when my computer restarted. It's incredibly frustrating (especially since I had a research section and lost all of my sources in the latest restart) There are also times where all of my tabs are dumped into one section during a restart and I have to spend a good amount of time reorganizing.

    I would recommend you steer clear of this extension and find something comparable instead

    This is a great extension marred by losing all open tabs on a fairly regular basis. I lose everything 2 or 3 times a year and have stopped using it after the most recent loss.

    An essential add-on. I tend to open many tabs and Panorama View provides a decent visual overview. Wonder if it can be arranged to load the tab automatically at startup, that would be even greater. Pinning it, is no solution in this respect.

    Function is great but I closed a tab via firefoxes "X" assuming it would simply jump back into panorama view, it didnt. the browser closed and hundreds of tabs vanished into thin air. This should not happen and is extremely frustrating, cant even restore them via "recently closed windows/tabs"

    Fantastic add-on. It's probably due to a browser update but the add-on icon no longer adapts to your browser's themes, which is an unfortunate thing as a dark mode user (the icon is black and barely visible).

    This is a good panoramic group tab. It can change color according to settings. But this needs to be fixed, the icon can't change color when in dark mode. And I think you need to develop it, so that when the browser is closed and reopened the tab groups are still there like in other browsers, so that makes this extension more impressive. I hope you can fix it soon. Best regard.

    I tried like 5 different tab grouping addons and this is the only one that actually does it properly. Albeit not exactly what I was looking for, but it works.

    Works great until this week.
    but now all groups with tabs inside are gone. Frustrating.. where can i get those tabs now?

    great, but groups don't sync between browsers and cant find where the extension saves its autosaves which would be great so I can sync it myself through a symlink and icloud.
