I'm sorry about your experience, which you have emailed me about in more detail. What you didn't mention here is that you were already using another window namer called FireTitle, so no doubt you had conflicting extensions. I'm working on dropping automatic default names, and the option of yielding window-naming to other extensions in a future update of Winger.
