A great idea.

For convenience, it needs a toolbar icon so that end users can disable the feature without stepping away from the YouTube page.

Possibly bugged. I often find that second playback of a video does not lead to closure. Amongst the videos tested, with Waterfox 56.2.3 on FreeBSD:

Hello :) Thanks for your feedback, I've added a toolbar icon to toggle the activation in version 1.2.
I'll investigate the issue about the second playback if it's not fixed in 1.2 .
