A must have add-on for me
I recommend this add-on to my Friends and Family they have only good things to say about this add-on. The only thing on my wish list for this add-on would be to be able to move it further up the side bar. Currently it sits at the bottom of the side bar and I have to scroll down to reach it witch is manageable but I would prefer if it wear always within clicking reach to save effort.
-Currently Working grate on Firefox 145.0 (64-bit). Win10 Pro. Version 22H2.

    Love it, so convenient!
    My only problem is that it regularly slows down Youtube dramatically, but this is solved by turning the extension off -- even just a second before turning it back on. No settings are lost.
    When it's not doing that, I'm not noticing any issue, it works great and is so helpful to organise my favourite channels by theme and check on the latest releases by topic!

    Right after I posted this, I had the same issue, but this time turning PT off didn't solve it... I don't use any other YT extension so at this point it might be an issue with YouTube itself lmao.

    It's weird. I can't reproduce the behavior. Try to disable other extensions you use, maybe it's some sort of conflict.

    Edit: not sure if the recent update fixed the slow down or if it was something with my PC/browser. Either way, works fine now

    What extension version are you using? Is there some specific browser settings, because it's not reproducible on the default Firefox.

    Good concept, bad delivery. I enjoy the pockets I could make; however, it locks up my YouTube every time. After disabling the add-on, everything works again, but the ugly YouTube subscription panel is unmanageable. Please fix.

    There are no issues on the extension side. I suspect you have a conflict with other extensions. Try to disable it. Usually, it happens when you use some type of adblockers, YouTube doesn't like it and hides parts of the UI.

    I wanted to use this app mainly for the status feature. But you don't find out it's a paid only option until you start using it. It should clearly be stated which options are available without a subscription.

    I have read through the entirety of the application's description, and the description for the Patreon link states following:

    "Become a Patreon to help support the continued development of this plugin if you enjoy it! It takes time to update the extension every time".

    Nothing there states that the extension would be paid, but instead to consider supporting you in your development process. I shouldn't have to access another link just to find out this information. I think it would be beneficial if you would re-read your own description, and avoid auto-responses on reviews that are not to your liking.

    The basic groups for organizing subscriptions are free. If you want extended features, you should become a patron. It takes time to update the extension every time YouTube changes internally. The link to Patreon https://www.patreon.com/join/ysub is clearly available in the description. You should open it to see the list of features. We have no way to force you to read it if you installed it before opening Patreon link.

    Furthermore, the decision to keep some features for the Patreon version of PocketTube was made to ensure the long-term feasibility of the free version.

    My favorite addon. This, plus Unhook in disabling the home screen lets me take control entirely of the content I'm consuming. I even wish that the Deck could open automatically when I open Youtube. Since I disabled the home screen with Unhook, I have to click on the Deck every time. Could this be implemented in the future?

    Great addon. Can't imagine using youtube without it any more.
    Question for developers: looks like there is a new feature on youtube called collaborations. Videos where this is used are not being filtered by PocketTube. Is there a plan to implement filtering of this kind of videos? thx

    Thanks, yes, it's are new update. We're going to hide the collaboration video when any filters by group are enabled, because currently, there is no way to filter collaboration videos on the page. The hiding will be available in the next update around next week.

    UPD: 17.8.7 is available, where we added filters for collaboration!
