Overall not bad but now it is blocking my email from t-online.de I have to turn the adblocker off so I can get me emails which floods my browser with all the ads. Since the last 2 updates of the adblocker I have had this problem.

I have tgried adblock asblock plus and no adblock ultimate but the same ad pop-up gets through unhindered

despite the claims it didn't block all adds for me and stopped a couple of sites working at all.

It's fine, it does it's job unobtrusively, and has a nice, clean interface that's easy to use. uBlock is still better, though, so I'm going back to that.

nice app, was going to give it a 5* until it flashed a "congratulations, you have blocked 1000 ads!........care to write a review?" then gave me a little fancy badge for it an will get another at 5000!

nice program AdAvoid, bad gimmick for trying to get a review, well it worked for i am writing one...but maybe a different approach to it. well, at least i have something to hang on my refrigerator door, right?

Celebrates blocked ads with... a pop-up ad. Two stars lost for stupidity.

why github version is not latest?
Is this add-on really open source?
Or the github source code just a guise.

Works well, but now it's allowing popups about turning it off, defeating the purpose. Very annoying. Will look for a better option.

Great for ad-blocking with the exception of its own large intrusive pop-ups.
