Just got the bronze shield for 1000 blocked ads, and I'm amazed at how well this add-on has done. Absolutely incredible work.

AdBlocker Ultimate has stopped working correctly in Firefox. It's only blocking some ads. Seems to work fine in Chrome.

This adblocker has stopped ads for me so well, I almost forgot how annoying they can be. If you give it a try, I think you'll appreciate it, and like it too.....

I considered reporting this for abuse, but its not quite in violation of any policy as far as I am aware. This adblocker tself is causing spam, begging for likes on facebook, etc. It does block adds, but then it will pester you about how good a job it is doing. Not sure for whose benefit this is, but I get the impression this is one of many fake adblockers intended to capitalize on a market of people who don't examine such software very deeply. I was looking for an alternative to the one true adblocking program, Adblock Plus, since the new interface has done away with the "Element Hiding Helper" and "Show Blockable Items" but this is not a viable choice. Probably feeds your browsing data/clicks to someone somewhere.

tl;dr, never install any adblocker but Adblock Plus, the only one that has been around since the early days and can be trusted

A simple click to activate and off it goes working in the background. I can't remember last I had an unannounced ad. Some sites have a banner urging me to turn it off, but I never do - but that's when I remember it's on.
