Not quite sure the specifics of what it does, but has stayed on consistently for 3+ years on firefox and blocked ads automatically (without having to repetitively turn it off/on) on every webpage I've seen (as the app lists, haven't confirmed from a non-blocked site though)

Didn't even notice that I had it one because it works so good. I even forgot adds were a thing.
