It does what it says. (And it's quite verbose about saying what it does.) I even checked its source code on GitLab. It is not as aggressive as it peers, so I installed it on my secondary web browser too.

Extirpated and blocked by Google (for Chrome), recommended by Mozilla. Tested the add-on, and who's right? Well ... not Google.
