Fedora Linux with KDE Plasma 6 experience is quite bad. It's inconsistent in following the system theme, though this is likely due to Plasma on Fedora being such jank.

Slows down sites considerably, this should either be removed entirely or fixed immediately because it makes the extension virutally unusable.

Used to be the best extension for dark mode in any browser.
Now its a complete trash. It will freeze your computer, that's guaranteed.

Not only that, the extension wasn't abandoned by the devs. It still gets frequent updates.

Which leads me to think the resource heavy bug not being addressed is not a oversight, it's by design.

I just can't trust this extension anymore, I have no Idea why they're using so much of my computer.

What happened? This app is essential to me because I have severe light and contrast sensitivity. I noticed some months ago that it wasn't working as it used to, but since the last update it's a huge drain on resources and literally breaks a large percent of the sites I visit now. I just restarted my computer because of a "ghost window" that was blank that I couldn't close. I was having network issues anyway, so I restarted. It was still there. Fixed it by disabling the extension. What's wrong, Dark Reader devs?

What was once a great extension, is no longer working as seamlessly as it did before the "renovation". I am now constantly having to adjust the settings to get the proper page representation. And even then I'm not getting the type of page I use to get. Where it just use to happen. Not any longer.

Now I'm in constant search for another extension that will work as it should and give you a properly adjusted dark page like DR use to.
