Critiques pour Font Contrast
Font Contrast par Francesco Fusco
Avis de Joy

par Joy, il y a 7 ansIt does seem to solve the problem of the idiotic light fonts on light background, which 20 year olds with excellent eyesight think is cool. I await the day they can't read a page because of their own code. One problem, though. The icon is right next to the URL and before the "bookmark this page" icon, and is apparently unmovable. I'd rather have it over with my other addons, which I keep to the right of the search bar. Right now it's cluttering my address bar.

- Noté 4 sur 5par Blargg, il y a 5 moisNice readability increase for common sites that stupidly use gray text. Usually works and I forget it's running. The occasional site can't have its text darkened. Working fine with uBlock Origin and NoScript on Android.

- Noté 2 sur 5par What???, il y a 7 moisIt used to work but now it doesn't play nice if you have other extensions like uBlock or VPNs and more. It needs a major update. You need to know how to tweak your settings. Otherwise, the default settings don't do much. If Fusco spends a bit more time providing instructions and updating his guide which is not current it could be a "game changer". But it looks like it's abandoned.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18578989 de Firefox, il y a un anI have this extension on both firefox and waterfox browsers. On firefox it has begun to block all images, but not on waterfox, both using identical Font Contrast settings.

- Noté 5 sur 5par sssss wwwww, il y a 2 ansNifty plugin for making web page text more readable.
If anyone is interested in its Chrome version, here is link to the plugin's chrome port.

Chrome port works exactly as the Firefox plugin, except for toggle on/off button. - Noté 5 sur 5par e scoles, il y a 2 ansAt a glance, works better than Google's native equivalent on Chrome. Do take a moment to read through the configuration options!
Gripes: As others have noted, the icon is (ironically) invisible on dark themes. They should re-do it to make it visible. - Noté 5 sur 5par EerorErrie, il y a 2 ansIt's a bit complicated to set it functional, but it works, as a font-zoomer, that's it. Nice job for saving my eyes from those stupid micro-font webs, thanks.

- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13404543 de Firefox, il y a 2 ansIf I select blacklist, it resets zoom level. So I adjust zoom level, and it deselects blacklist. Can't really change anything at all.

- Noté 5 sur 5par mmmel4real, il y a 2 ansWorks great if not using an extension to make websites darker. It doesn't really change the contrast of light text on dark backgrounds. (I played with all the options.) I don't think this is the fault of this extension though because the other extension takes over all styling. So no stars deducted.
I like the option to increase the text size too. It adds the missing toolbar icon that Firefox refuses to give us for toggling custom font size.
Text looks a lot better in pages with lighter backgrounds and black text. I also love all the great options for getting things just right, and I love that the changes can be customized for each website, or use blacklist mode. - Noté 5 sur 5par Stu, il y a 3 ans
- Noté 5 sur 5par NikiRandom, il y a 3 ansOnly just installed this but it seems very good. Simple and effective.
My only minor criticism so far is that the icon is, ironically, pretty much invisible in most of the FF themes that I have.
Oh, and it doesn't seem to work on Facebook? - Noté 5 sur 5par BlueWire, il y a 3 ansI have macular degeneration and I thought I was going to have to give up on Firefox. This extension makes it possible for me to keep using Firefox.
