To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about this extension, I mean, surely it can't work anymore?
Installed it and it works flawlessly!

Few improvements suggestions:
A. Enable auto play next song (I believe Firefox blocks the background page from redirecting)
B. Make this add-on appear when searching for YouTube on FF add-on page.
