    Sadly my employer started blocking non-EU extensions on my work laptop. ABP works well

    I used to love this extension but once they started getting greedy and allowing ads in YouTube videos to get users to pay for premium I removed the extension and started using uBlock Origin instead, it works much better.

    We're aware that YouTube has been intermittently testing strategies to show either ads or their anti-adblocking wall. If you are seeing a brief display of an add, these are related to our efforts to stop adds on YouTube. However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing. Please try the following steps:
    1 - Signing out of your YouTube account
    2 - Make sure you haven't added YouTube to your allowlisted websites

    Until today, I've relied on ABP to hide elements that cause photogenic seizures. Today, ABP seems to have changed & I can no longer choose elements to block for myself. That makes ABP worthless to me, so I guess — after all these years of ABP helping me use the internet safely — I need to find a better option that will protect me. Thanks for selling out, ABP.

    I'm removing this extension because it has become predatory.

    When opening a new tab, this plugin now opens a SECOND new browser tab and asks you to pay every 2 weeks or more. I do not tolerate this kind of B***S****

    The addon works okay, but I've been growing rather frustrated with the constant popups asking me to pay for it. Once a year seems acceptable, as opposed to multiple times a week.

    Does what it says it's gonna do for the most part, but ABP is now the most common source of new tab pop ups. Quit telling me you updated or how many things you've blocked, you keep disrupting my work and am getting pretty close to swapping to something less intrusive
