par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17311058 de Firefox, il y a 4 ansDue to the fact that I am unable to bounce back on one account without paying, I am deleting my account. They should let it be known up front that is not a free service. Plus you have to give them access to your entire gmail account. Umm. No.

mis en ligne : il y a 4 ansWe do make it clear on our website that the service has a small monthly or yearly fee. We'll make it more evident in the add-on listing as well.
As for the access, unfortunately this is the only way to make the blocks work. We do not share, sell, or even store _any_ data from your email account. I'd encourage you to read our privacy policy (https://blocksender.io/privacy/), which explicitly states that we do not save any data from your account.

First, it only replicates the standard block or spam feature of gmail, second, it *only works* on gmail accounts and not on other email accounts that aren't connected to gmail. To be able to bounce the emails you have to pay for it, but since it doesn't work on non gmail accounts, and I don't use gmail, I don't see the purpose of paying for something I can't use.

mis en ligne : il y a 4 ansThanks for the feedback! We do support some blocks that Gmail doesn't have, and one of the popular uses for Block Sender is that you can create a block on one account that then applies to all of your linked Gmail / G Suite accounts. Plus bounce-backs and other canned responses.
Unfortunately we do need to charge for some features in order to pay for developers, servers, etc. And we'll never monetize the app using our users' data, so the small subscription fee is our best option.
Please contact me at scott@blocksender.io - I'd love to hear any other feedback you have and figure out how we can make Block Sender useful to you. Thanks! - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17016357 de Firefox, il y a 4 ans

mis en ligne : il y a 6 ansHi there, sorry about the confusion on our plans. To clarify, you do not need to provide a credit card to try out Block Sender's free features. You only need to upgrade when you want to connect multiple email accounts or send bounce-backs. Hope this helps!
