- Noté 5 sur 5par shinae, il y a 9 joursThis is amazing!
Most AI blocking add-ons merely hide it from search results, but this one blocks it altogether which is what I've been looking for.
I hate that the forced implementation of AI in search engines is contributing to the depletion of drinking water, pollution of marginalized communities, rapidly rising electricity costs, and spread of misinformation.
None of us consented to this!
Tools like this help us opt out of being complicit.
Forever grateful and will spread the word about its existence! - Noté 5 sur 5par lee terry, il y a 10 joursWas looking for a way to disable this crap by default on brave search till I asked using the "ask ai" button.
The setting for that gets cleared when I close my browser along with a ton of other data and it defaults always on (meaning I had to reset the option every time I closed the browser).
So, I got this and set it on my bar at the top. Now, when I wanna search and ask AI right away I click the icon in the top of my browser, then change the addon settings from "always allow" to "on click" only to revert the change back after I am finished. Plus, if I wanna ask after I search I can just click the ask button and it works even with the addon running.
It does the job I wanted perfectly, that is worth it at least 4 stars, but the fact that its easy to use warranted 5 imo. - Noté 5 sur 5par Cboom, il y a un mois

mis en ligne : il y a 2 moisMicrosoft appears to have completely removed the option in Bing to turn off Copilot answers (AI overviews). DuckDuckGo is an alternative that uses Bing as one of their results sources, along with others, and is more privacy-focused. - Noté 5 sur 5par ChaosCloud, il y a 2 moisBigTech loves shoving AI slop up our arses. This must-have extension increases QoL exponentially.

Absolute nonsense, AI Overview. This is Google the way it was meant to be, like in 1999. One clean screen and 10 blue links.
- Noté 5 sur 5par americancarrot, il y a 2 moisI hate seeing the AI overview on google, AI is not only detrimental to our environment but it's not even right half the time. A simple change that makes a big difference for me when I'm searching. I'm trying to use google not ChatGPT

- Noté 5 sur 5par fnhfbx56uvrtyh4, il y a 3 moisIt's a bit inconvinient to use when you want to use google cirrency or measure converter. But screw ai overviews

mis en ligne : il y a 2 moisYou can disallow the add-on from running in Private mode and access the converters in Private mode, though you will still get AI overviews. You can also try using another browser just for that purpose, or find alternative websites for the conversions you need. Or print out some conversion charts and keep them nearby. - Noté 5 sur 5par welltas, il y a 4 mois
