Edit: ok fair enough, i guess i'll just avoid using googleRéponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a un moisThere is no other way to disable AI Overviews on Google Search, because it is embedded in the page results. If we just hid it the AI resources would still be spent. That's why we redirect to the Web tab. You can disallow the addon from running in Private windows if you still want the ability to use some of the other features, but AI will still run then. Or you can remove the addon. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 19661502 de Firefox, il y a un mois

They talk about water and energy consumption of AI in their about section so its unbelievable this is part of it. Perplexity uses the same logo as this addon and it was removed from firefox when I removed this extension.Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 2 moisThis is simply not true. This addon does not add any AI chatbots and the logo is not the same as Perplexity. Firefox added Perplexity as a search engine option recently, and this developer had nothing to do with that. https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/firefox-144/
Also, the source code for this addon is open and available for review to see that all we do is add CSS to hide page elements and block or redirect specific url requests. https://github.com/jruns/disable-ai - Noté 5 sur 5par luni.ART.ic, il y a 2 moisCreated a profile just for this. Amazing plugin, I can finally use Google search without having to scroll forever!

How does it do it?

- Noté 5 sur 5par Daniel, il y a 3 moisThis extension is very power to disable AI overview. I am very like their solution: Stop all actions, requests of AI overviews. I used it on my laptop, so good. Thanks for your help.
