Vulnerability scanning
- Update the vulnerable-library database at runtime: Update DB and an opt-in Auto refresh in the Security Findings panel (off by default).
- Downloaded data is validated before use; invalid, empty or oversized responses are rejected and the previous database stays active.
- Bundled database refreshed (76 libraries) and now accepts the upstream Retire.js record format.

Requests and interception
- Request list defaults to newest first, and your sort column/direction is remembered.
- Experimental method/body handling now requires an explicit risk acknowledgement before it can be enabled.
- Intercept notice no longer claims how a request was modified.

Security findings
- Findings are sanitized before being stored and expire after 24 hours.
- Categories summarised with per-category filtering, including API endpoints and paths extracted from fetch()/XHR calls.

Privacy and packaging
- Removed web_accessible_resources (the vulnerability database is no longer exposed to web pages) and dropped the activeTab permission.
- Added a strict extension CSP and an explicit data-collection declaration (none).
- Release builds use an explicit file allowlist, so development files cannot enter the package.

Under the hood
- Background logic split into shared modules (HTTP model, tab sessions, interception lifecycle, request interception, match & replace, privacy sanitization, library scanner) used by both the background
page and the DevTools panel.
