Install a browser extension that records your browsing history and tabs? No thanks.
Obstruction of privacy for the sake of skill assessment is completely inappropriate.
There are more professional ways to hire the right people for the job.
If you come across this company in your interviews, I would recommend moving on to a different company. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 16843417 de Firefox, il y a 4 ansThis extension is very invasive. It gets access to your browsing history. A poor interview process in my opinion. Don't install if you value your privacy.
- Noté 1 sur 5par skeeter, il y a 4 ansExtreme invasion of privacy. Monitors tabs, audio, video, and periodically takes pictures of your screen. I didn't even open the test once I saw what the add-on was doing.
Don't bother taking the coding challenge unless you want to work for a trash company whose business model is to breach user privacy. They're a bottom of the barrel garbage corporation with no morals lol. Their product makes society worse.
The ideal future (dystopia) for this company is one where employees forfeit their right to privacy. A line must be drawn.Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 4 ansHi there,
All addons/extensions are open source, you can actually check out what's the code that's running for addons/extensions via dev tool.
Filtered Interview Extension is not doing what you stated above.
Thanks.

- Noté 1 sur 5par robertcawbrush@gmail.com, il y a 4 ansPossibly the most invasive interview process i have ever seen. At the end of the process the add on removes itself without telling you so i went on a wild goose chase trying to delete it myself.
The name itself makes it seem like it doesnt matter what you do in the process as whatever algorithm is going to filtered you out because you didnt ask for the lowest possible salary or something like that.
Horrible experience overall
