    • Quote Pool Merging: New quotes from API are now merged with existing cached quotes instead of replacing them, building up a pool of up to 200 unique quotes over time.
    • Proactive Fetching: When running low on unseen quotes (less than 10 available), fetches more quotes in the background before running out.
    • API Rate Limiting: Added minimum 5-minute interval between API fetches to prevent excessive requests (bypassed when pool is exhausted).
    • Cache-Busting: API requests now include a timestamp parameter to encourage different results from the server.
    • Better Logging: Added detailed logging showing total pool size, shown count, and available quotes for debugging.
    • Persistence: Quote pool persists across browser sessions via chrome.storage.local, accumulating unique quotes over time.

    Content Update: Updated the cached quotes to be politically correct.
    UI Improvement: Fixed controls (mode toggle, copy, refresh) at top of viewport so they no longer shift when quote length changes.
    Bug Fix: Fixed random quote cycling issue where the same quotes would repeat even after fetching new batches from the API. The shown quotes history now persists across batch fetches, only resetting when the API can no longer provide any unseen quotes.
    Bug Fix: Added SHOWN_QUOTES_KEY to cache clearing on version updates, ensuring a clean slate for quote tracking.
