When you install FrameTab, a step-by-step tour now walks you through the key parts of the extension. A pulsing spotlight highlights the collection picker on your first new tab, then guides you through the popup — Collections, Filters, and Display — so everything makes sense from the start.
Skip or replay at any time.
A "Skip tutorial" option dismisses the entire tour immediately. Once you've finished, a "Replay Tutorial" button in the Account section of the popup lets you run through it again whenever you want.
Smart progress tracking.

With multiple collections pinned, switching tabs quickly could cause a stale network response to overwrite the background grid, making a newly selected background appear deselected. What's New panel in the popup. A new collapsible "What's New" section shows the latest FrameTab release notes right inside the popup. A small blue dot lets you know when there's an update you haven't read yet, and it clears the moment you open the panel.
Offline-friendly. Release notes are cached locally so they show up instantly the next time you open the popup, even before the network responds.
Get release updates by email (optional). A lightweight signup form in the popup lets you opt in to occasional emails about new features, collections, and tips. No spam, unsubscribe any time. Signups are spam-protected with a hidden honeypot field and validated client-side before they're sent.
Hardened popup rendering. All dynamic content from the server is rendered as plain text (never raw HTML) to prevent any chance of injection in the popup UI.

Firefox: infinite reload loop fully resolved — v1.2.1's fix for the rapid-switching loop did not hold in Firefox due to a timing difference in how Firefox delivers storage change events. The guard was already cleared by the time the event arrived, so the loop continued. Bug fixes
Firefox: rapid NFT switching fixed — Firefox was continuously cycling through NFTs even with rotation disabled. Root cause was a storage event feedback loop specific to Firefox's extension architecture; a targeted fix prevents it from retriggering itself.
Popup: Favorites section added — Favorited NFTs are now visible in the popup options screen under a new "Favorites" section, directly below "Watched NFTs". Favorites — Heart any NFT directly from the new-tab tray to save it to your personal favorites list. Favorites sync across devices tied to the same FrameTab account.
Improvements:
Holder detection — The extension now automatically detects whether you hold an NFT from the active collection and reports this to the collection owner (anonymously, by install ID). Collection owners can use this to understand the split between holders and non-holders in their audience.
NFT engagement tracking — Opens of the NFT tray, clicks through to SentX, and clicks to Hedera Explorer are now tracked per NFT, giving collection owners richer insight into which pieces are getting the most attention.
