    I tend to find this a bit intrusive on searchfox, but i just noticed it on Bugzilla, and I am reminded that I really like it on Bugzilla.

    It was not supposed to be intrusive, as there is a button to enable/disable the coverage overlay and it is disabled by default.
    I now see that the feature to toggle coverage by pressing 'C' can cause it to be very intrusive though (as it would toggle every time you press Ctrl+C).
