Simple and nice user interface. I wish the highlighted words were saved so that I don't have to highlight again when i revisit a page.

It's a nice add-on, but when it's enabled you can't select text anymore.
For this you need to disable it.
For enabling it you need to go to plugins.
It would be nice to add a button to switch between highlite and select

I've been looking for an add-on like this for such a long time. My favourit Chrome highlighting extension aren't available on Firefox.

Doesn't always save the highlights. Especially if you close your browser. Otherwise great. But not so useful.

Nice, but I find another addon - "Snippet" - much more useful. Highlighting text is easier... Notes are attached to your highlights... And you can organize your highlights into folders and add tags to them.

All these features are not available with this addon "Highlight and Notes".

Couldn't get the highlighter to work on any page. Might have missed some instructions but I don't think I did. Either way, if it's that difficult to get something that's meant to be helpful for accessibility to work, then it's not worth installing. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a highlighter extension so far that works.
