This extension relies on "Native Messaging" to function. It acts as a UI for a local Xray-core instance.
Without the companion host application installed on the OS, the extension will show a "Connection Error". This is expected behavior.

To test the extension fully, please follow these steps:
1. Download the "homa-installer.exe" (or the zip for manual install) from our repository: https://github.com/Fox-Fig/Homa/releases
2. Install the host app.
3. The extension will then be able to communicate with the core.

The full source code for both the extension and the native host is available at the repository link above. We do not collect any user data (telemetry is disabled in manifest).
