WHAT does this do? It is not explained so I blew it away

FirefoxとSafariのブックマークが同期でき便利ですが致命的なバグがいつまでたっても直らないので使用をやめました。
ブックマークが増殖します。icloudの機能としてあるものなのにアプリの更新もなく放置されています。さすがアップルです。

Simply doesn't work. When I try to select bookmarks in iCloud configuration, app ask me to install Firefox extension, which of course is installed. Useless.

There's a problem with either this extension or iCloud.
In the settings panel for iCloud for Windows there is a section called Bookmarks.
It defaults to Internet Explorer!
There is an option to select Firefox instead but when I do (& click 'Apply') it tells me that the iCloud Bookmarks extension for Firefox is required.
I am already aware of this & have installed this Firefox iCloud Bookmarks extension previously.
Unfortunately, iCloud for Windows fails to recognise this & therefor It's not possible to set it up.

this stopped working ages ago and now i can't sync anything because the addons for pc don't work.. 100% useless

同步的数据乱七八糟，重复太多了，删除了重复的后面又出现了很多重复的书签！

If I could give this extension a Zero, I would. I'm using iCloud for Windows on Windows 10 Pro. iCloud goes in a never ending loop, demanding that the extension be downloaded and installed and then not working -- so it demands the install be downloaded.

What a colossal waste of time!

I refuse to use Google Chrome (or Microsoft Edge/Chredge), but I cannot find a browser for a Windows machine that will let me Sync the bookmarks between Safari and the browser.

Any suggestions?

I noticed that the last update for this extension is supposedly 3 years ago.

Why is it still listed by Firefox???

iCloud for Windows bookmark, although added; the iCloud program continues to tell me to download it so bookmarks will sync...

Seemed to presume a few things. First, it alphabetized my bookmarks (the ones carefully arranged in a specific order in my toolbar). Then, as I was fixing that, it just started rearranging them and creating duplicates.

I deleted all the changes and restored my backup. Might have been a conflict with Firefox Sync. Alas, we'll never know since Firefox is my primary browser and I trust open source over closed overall. In the end, I disabled iCloud sync in the Windows app and uninstalled the plug-in.
