Simple but hugely effective. Why doesn't email software just do this by default?

This is a massive improvement over simply closing your email tab. It means, for example, that when I want to send an email I don't get distracted by all of the new messages that have arrived since I last checked, and then forget to send the email in the first place!

Really makes a difference in terms of optimizing your use of email, avoiding compulsive inbox checking, forcing you to focus on what you were coming to do, not letting you get distracted by incoming mail. One of the most convincing and effective "productivity" tools I have tried!

This is simply a wonderful add-on. It helps Gmail users make better use of our browser time by counting the number of minutes you spend gazing at your inbox and restricting that number, if you choose.

So happy this add-on is available in Firefox. I've tried a lot of services to hamper distractions. Inbox When Ready is a lifesaver when you need to use your gmail archive but still keep focused on the task at hand. Super helpful!

What can I say... a simple little plugin that frees A LOT of headspace. I love it.
