par Sans Undertale, il y a 5 ansWhile my preferred Feed Reader on Desktop is the excellent FeedBro browser extension, I've been in the market for a decent way to keep feeds synced across multiple devices. I do enjoy using different feed readers on Mobile and Desktop, yes, but the drawback is that I have to manually mark read something on my phone after reading it on my Desktop and visa-versa.
This almost solves my problem. Feeds that I subscribe to are indeed synced across all my devices running Firefox (because they're saved as bookmarks), but there's one fatal flaw that keeps me from dumping FeedBro in favor of this, and I realize it's not something that can be resolved easily due to the limitations of being a browser extension. Simply put, if I subscribe to a feed on one device, it will only update on that device. I can access the feed from my other devices, but it will only refresh the feed on the device that it originated from.
I still give it four star because it DOES sync on technicality, but that's all it has going for it. In general, I find FeedBro to be the more feature rich (and less permission heavy) alternative at the cost of only having my feeds on one local device at a time.
Edit: Browsing the Git-Hub for this extension, I found this: https://github.com/nt1m/livemarks/issues/22 to be a fascinating read. A ongoing journal of past (failed) attempts to make proper Livemark Sync work across multiple devices. At present, the issue is still open, but not updated since 2019. This will be a fascinating development to watch over time, but I doubt there will be a solution soon unless Mozilla were to completely revise how Bookmarks are saved (or better yet, offer their OWN take on integrated RSS feeds in the Firefox Browser again after all these years).

- Noté 2 sur 5par Korwin, il y a 8 moisThe extension icon does not appear on the Toolbar, in the extension drop-down list, in the Sidebar, or on the "Drag your favorite items into the toolbar or overflow menu" page. The "Refresh interval" field only displays two digits (instead of at least four). When importing feeds from OPML, it is difficult to select the desired subfolder, because they are displayed in the drop-down list as one level, not as a tree. After importing, about a thousand feeds are very annoying when working with bookmarks on a daily basis, cluttering up search results.
There is no cloud syncing of feeds via browser, nor via Google Drive/Dropbox connection.

- Noté 4 sur 5par Sam, il y a 10 moisIt's great! If you ever used the RSS Livemarks feed from Firefox, this is it, broken out as an extension. I only wish they add a UI for .mp3 media (i.e. podcasts) so they would look and play nicely on the livemarks page. Currently when I click the mp3 link in the RSS page, the firefox mp3 UI shows up and since it is streaming, it breaks on some sites. Most site will limit then number of connection and since the FF browser go back after playing a small chunk to download the next chunk, it timesout and doesn't play past 10 minutes.

- Noté 3 sur 5par abbey2k1, il y a un anIt works for sure, but like a lot of extensions like it, it doesn't update to the tab that I'm currently on. For example, I go from Link A to Link B. I click the RSS button only for it to only show me the feed from Link A, not the feed from the tab I'm currently on, Link B. This is very frustrating as someone trying to start using RSS and building a library of feeds quickly. If it updated to the page I'm on as I expect it to, this would be an easy 5 stars.
