Ă propos de cette extension
Oh, you need ANOTHER browser extension to stop yourself from scrolling? Same.
LOCKD is a distraction blocker that doesn't pretend to be your friend. When you try to visit your digital vices, it asks one simple question: "Why are you here?"
Work or Private. Pick one.
Choose WORK and you get instant access. I trust you. Probably shouldn't, but I do.
Choose PRIVATE and you'll wait. Stare at a countdown. Read a motivational one-liner that will judge you. Then pick how long you "need" to scroll. The guilt trip is intentional. It works.
What you're getting:
- Block any site you want (the usual suspects are included)
- Separate work and private access modes
- Domain matching modes (exact, subdomain, regex)
- Configurable timers because I'm not a monster
- Auto-kick when your pass expires (yes, mid-scroll)
- Zero accounts, zero subscriptions, zero data collection
- Sharp UI with no rounded corners because I have standards
What you're NOT getting:
- A friendly "take a break!" notification
- Gamification nonsense
- AI-powered productivity insights
- My sympathy
The pass expires. You get redirected back to the guilt screen. The cycle continues until you either finish your work or accept that you're the problem.
Works on Chrome too. I'm not platform-exclusive with my judgment.
Lock in. Or don't. This is an extension, not your mother.
