par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14073724 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansGreat addon. What I would like to have changed is the moment a file is selected for download to have it immediately pop-up a windows to enter the download location instead of having a window pop-up when the download itself has finished. As I use many different download locations and simultaneous downloads it is hard to keep track if the windows pop-up after the download.
One more thing. When a post-download location window is displayed and the folder does not exist yet I create that particular folder withing that pop-up window. After I click Save a second window pops-up in which I need to select the folder i just created. Can this be done in one go.
I hope the above two can be combined as was the option with DTA where DTA created the folder and saved the files immediately in that folder.

Firefox does not allow extensions to save files to arbitrary locations, and this extension workarounds it by launching the built-in download manager, with the fully downloaded file. Before the task finishes, there is no complete file to give to the built-in download manager, so this workaround cannot be used and there is no way to prompt for the location.
If the location window always pop-ups twice, your browser may be affected by disabling "out of process extensions". See the wiki for details: https://github.com/jingyu9575/multithreaded-download-manager/wiki/Problems-with-disabling-the-feature-%22out-of-process-extensions%22

- Noté 3 sur 5par Kurt, il y a 4 moisIt works, but... there's no way to use custom download locations, because /Downloads (my default location on Firefox under Debian Linux always is chosen.
That's a bad habit, because very often I use custom storage locations like USB HD's and especially bigger downloads put a high load unnecessarily on my SSD, which otherwise could be re-assigned completely.
Furthermore this AddOn seems to be dead, as there was no update since 2 full years... and there are numerous open tickets visible.
To clarify: I will re-edit this review in _ a n y _ case (dead or alive) and will downgrade it in case of a dead project and no response, so that it becomes at least obvious, that one should consider to remove this more and more function-wise dying thing from Firefox. - Noté 5 sur 5par Grant, il y a 5 moisExcellent! It would be even better with an icon for the new Firefox sidebar :)

- Noté 4 sur 5par turgut kalfaoglu, il y a un anIt's good but fails for very large files, ie 20GB or more. After the download, firefox starts saving it, but it gets stuck halfway.

It's a pity that it asks about the location of the files at the end, instead of at the beginning of the download, but this limitation results from the limitations of Firefox itself, as I guess (removal of the "IDBMutableFile" functionality in Firefox version 75). - Noté 5 sur 5par Emre, il y a 2 ans
