I find it very useful as an AI assistant when browsing with Firefox. The setup is: Page Sidebar → local OpenWebUI (Docker) → local Ollama.

    great extension! it's almost perfect.
    just need to fix the problem when you close it and then open it again, the tabs refresh. thats a big problem for me because i want to use whatsapp web and other links that i dont want to refresh every time i open the panel, cause they're essentials to my productivity.
    take opera as example. the best sidebar among all browsers

    Page Sidebar uses the current Firefox Sidebar API. According to its design principle, when the panel is not visible, it gets unloaded, meaning it is also removed from memory. You can read more about this on the official Mozilla developer documentation:

    good one but has missed so many features,please introduce tab pinning,adding tabs,and home button is so glitchy it isnt even working on my extension.please do something it is good but make it best.

    I there a way to prevent links from other domains to open in a new tab so I can fluently navigate always inside the sidebar?

    Good extension, thanks for your efforts! One thing I hope can be improved is, every toggle it will clear the displaying page, I hope it can persist, at least survive toggles.

    Thank you for using Page Sidebar and for your 4 star rating.

    There is already an option to keep the last opened tab. See in the Page Sidebar Options page -> Basic tab -> Start page -> When closing the sidebar, it will save the current URL. Upon reopening the sidebar, the last accessed URL will be loaded automatically.

    Using Firefox sync... when change the toolbar button design, the sync changes in reverse.
    Other than that, it's really good.

    Try to click again on the icon on the Options page. The Firefox extension uses the chrome.storage.sync feature, it should sync all settings.
