To collect truly useful data you'll need to add an option to the menu of each recommended video (where the "Not Interested" option is). 99% of the time I already know the recommendation is of zero interest and won't play the video just so I can register my regret.

I'll watch this with interest. Please save us all from the useless YouTube recommendation system, Mozilla devs!

It definitely slows down YouTube on my high-end desktop. Whether you think this addon is a good idea or not, the execution is currently unusable.

The overall idea is very good. Conspiracy theories are a real threat and they are spreading over the internet faster than ever. And Youtube promotes them, it's just crazy.
One thing about this addon: It slows the Youtube Experience down a lot. Everything is laggy with this plugin installed. I currently have it disabled. When this gets fixed, I will enable it again.

This is a great idea, but you shouldn't have to click on a video before reporting it. If I get recommended a regrettable video, I'm not generally going to click on it (or perhaps that's the point, but would I even know it to bre regrettable at that point?)
