À propos de cette extension
If you frequently watch tutorials or lectures on video, whether it be on YouTube, Udemy, Coursera, or many others to help you work on your computer, you are likely running into the issue where you need the instructor to Repeat That, because the lesson was going too fast. You have to grab the cursor, then drag it over to the browser window, click, then change the current time on the video, either by hitting Left Arrow Key or precisely moving the cursor. Then you have to drag the cursor back to the program you were working on, and find the precise spot you left off of. If you are watching an entire course, you are finding that this is happening very often, and it is disrupting your learning rhythm, breaking your focus and is taking a lot of your time. Say goodbye to the frustration of pausing your work to rewind a tutorial—RepeatThat makes it effortless to have your online instructor “Repeat That” moment.

The RepeatThat Extension + App solves this problem by letting you assign global hotkeys to Rewind or Pause the video. These hotkeys are heard from whichever program is in focus, and controls the video playback in the browser. So let's say you are brushing up on your Excel skills while watching a tutorial, and the instructor went a bit too fast, just hit the assigned rewind shortcut and they will RepeatThat. No need to click away from Excel! What's even sweeter is that if you feel the default 5 seconds to backtrack is too much, you can customize the number of seconds you can go back by. So if you feel 3 seconds is enough, you don't need to wait an extra 2 seconds to hear what you missed.

Why RepeatThat is ideal:

Tailored scripts for Udemy, edX, Coursera, as well as Khan Academy, for bug-free playback. Works perfectly on YouTube as well.

You can choose various types of hotkeys. If you want to control playback with a single key instead of holding a combination of keys, you can select one of the F keys, a Num Pad key, or one of the Rewind or Previous Track and the Play/Pause keys.

RepeatThat enables you to be able to work on a browser-based project, like Framer, WordPress, or Harvard CS50's VSCode page, while watching a tutorial on another browser window on the side.

There's a unique Hold-to-Rewind feature, which mimics cassette-style rewinding for more precise control. Just hold on the assigned rewind key and watch as the video rewinds like rewinding a movie.

How It Works:

Install the RepeatThat Desktop App: Download from https:/uncaria.io to enable global shortcuts.

Click the Extension Icon: Select the video to control, launching the desktop app automatically.

Use Your Shortcuts: Tap or hold a single key to rewind or pause, even in a non-focused Chrome window.

Note: Requires the RepeatThat desktop app, available at https://uncaria.io.
Some platforms may prompt for user interaction due to browser policies.
