    This is one of the best add-ons I have used.
    So sorry about the new limitations in the new FF though...

    Would love to see the old amazing features of 1.0 return...
    - double click >> last saved folder
    - filename rewrite (awesome feature!!)

    It's a bummer that we cannot truly save where we want, but are required to save everything in the downloads map. I understand that this is not the fault nor choice of the dev of this addon, but it's still a bummer.

    Anyways, it works as advertised, which is great. I'm glad someone rebooted this addon. One thing though, is it possible to place the save option under the "save as" like in the original addon? I'd like that.

    Also, currently I cannot use the 1.2 version. It says I need firefox 58.0a. I have tried this with several computers, asked other people, used a clean install. Still said I needed 58.0a.

    I would like placing Save Image in Folder under Save as too, but the Firefox is too restrictive now. We can not do such a thing :(

    Can't install this addon for some reason, it says it needs Firefox version 58.0a1

    Any idea why it's doing that for me?

    Also I'm in agreement with the other users, being able to double click to save the image to the last used folder was a major feature of the old addon for me, would love to see it make a return here.

    I don't know what your Firefox doing with versions, it's clearly a mess.
    I will think about double-click behavior. But no promises, as WebExtensions API gives not much in comparison with old add-on system.
    I mean that I have nothing with the owner of the old add-on. This is my add-on, and I will do with it anything I want. I could've not publish it at all in the first place.

    I doubt that it can be implemented using WebExtensions API, but I will look into it.
    There is no reason to cut of the star for that :-/

    For example, let's say I have the following set in the options:
    foo
    foo/bar
    foo/bar/etc

    I was hoping for the menu showing one item, "foo", which then opens an additional menu showing, "Save here", "bar" and "etc".

    I don't see any contact information, so I guess you meant leave a review. Could you make it possible to add subfolders and maybe separators to the context menu? With more than a handful of folders defined, the menu becomes unwieldly.

    Users can get around this by creating symbolic links.

    You've guessed right about a review!

    Now you can add folders in settings like this (for example):
    Pictures/Wallpapers/Abstract

    But in the menu you will see only the last one - Abstract.

    If you are saving all the pictures to some high-level folder like "Pictures" you don't want to see all menu items like:
    Pictures/Wallpapers
    Pictures/Movies
    ... and so on.
    I've tried to get rid of that first part like "Pictures", because I already know that they all are in that folder. But now, as I wrote an example with "Abstract" I've realized that you can have more that one "Abstract" folder in many categories.

    I will think about that problem, stay tuned! :)
