Works well, even if the context menu item doesn't say "Search image for....X", but simply "Search image". It's good there's an icon with the context menu item, so I know it's this extension, and not another one.

The only thing that I am missing is the option to open the result page in a background tab. Firefox's default 'search google for...' opens result in background tab as it is set to do so in about:config: browser.search.context.loadInBackground;true. But this extension doesn't open search page in a background tab. Thanking the developer I would like to request him to add the feature.

Perhaps it's unfair to mark down a program that does exactly what it says if you read the description carefully, however, it doesn't do what I thought it did. Judging from the other reviews here, I'm not alone in being confused. I wanted something like in Google's Chrome where you can right-click to get a menu and then choose "Search image" to search for images similar to the one clicked on. However, this extension doesn't do that (yet). I hope the author will eventually add in that functionality. In the meantime, I've switch to TinEye reverse image search.
