- Noté 5 sur 5par Sunny, il y a un moisIt works pretty well for searching for images on a webpage, however I kind of wish it worked a bit more like what is available on Google Chrome, where you can select an area of the webpage (kind of like screenshotting) to search on websites that have some sort of overlay on the images.

mis en ligne : il y a un moisYou can select an area of the web page using the Capture search mode. The search mode can be set independently for the context menu and the browser toolbar from the extension's options.
You could also enable the "Use deep search when selecting images" option to continue searching with the Select URL or Select Image search modes. When enabled, the extension extracts all images from the clicked area, even if an overlay image was immediately found. If multiple images are found, you can select the one you need from a popup that lists the images along with their dimensions. - Noté 5 sur 5par paulo_Brasil, il y a 2 moisThis tool is incredible.
Not only for the Image Search itself, but mainly for the "Open Image" function.
The Open Image feature should be an extension of its own.
No exaggeration, it's probably the one I use the most daily, of all extensions or native features on Firefox!Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a un moisHi, I'm happy you find the extension useful! You could also experiment with the options listed below to extract potentially larger versions of the image from the source code of the page. These options are not enabled by default because it takes a bit longer to download all variants of the selected image.

* Detect alternative image sizes - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 19488466 de Firefox, il y a 2 mois

This Firefox Add-on still needs to be updated to 8.2.4 (released 5 days ago) to include these fixes. Chrome and Samsung store already had this update for their browsers.

- Noté 2 sur 5par kissmyaspergerz, il y a 3 moisIt is no longer working for my android phone. I don't know what the problem is. It was always having trouble with loading every single time, as it would only load every once in a while. Now when it loads, it will search for a random gray photo with random symbols and I can't get out of it. Any suggestions? If I was able to post photos, I would.

mis en ligne : il y a 3 moisMy impression is that you're using a fork of Firefox for Android that is customized to the point of breaking essential web APIs, but you'd have to share more details in a GitHub issue to figure out what went wrong on your device.
