Tab Session Manager par sienori

par nzpete54, il y a 8 ansI had to find a replacement for the old Session Manager, which worked well until FF57, and then not at all.
I give kudos to the author of this add on for going to the trouble to provide an extension that substitutes for the legacy Session Manager in part. If it can duplicate more of the functionality of the older extension, it would rate FIVE stars for sure. But I thank the author and rate four stars at this time.
There are issues which I hope can be dealt with as this extension develops:
- I had a large 196 tab session saved, which Tab Session Manager shows OK, but when I try to open the session, only a portion of them do load. There seems to be a limit here. It would be nice if there was not.
- I note the latest version 1.5 has an option to Export the tabs (I presume as a list of links), but I haven't located this feature. This would enable me to sort through the 196 tabs mentioned in the previous point, so I hope I can find it - FOUND IT! Cool. Oh, but it only exports as a .json file which is not so useful. Update: but it is not to hard to manipulate the file with Notepad++ using "windowId": value to extract the tabs from a particular session.
- I echo the statement of "Anonymous user 8e0130" who asked "Is there anyway to have it not load non-active tabs?"

- Noté 2 sur 5par Harry Btor, il y a 6 heuresIn the case of tab groups, this add-on does not preserve original tabs grouping while importing a session: it imports all tabs uniformly, i.e. without any tab grouping. Dear developers, please, correct this fault. P.S. Yet pinned non-grouped tabs are imported correctly (as pinned).

- Noté 1 sur 5par Lebelon91, il y a 22 joursWorked great for a long time, but in the last month or so, the "autosave sessions" feature hasn't worked at all. I've checked my sessions to try to find windows/tabs I wanted to go back to, and the last thing saved was over a month ago even though I know I had Firefox at least set to restore previous windows. But this extension didn't save ANYTHING over the last month+ even though I had it set to do so, so that feature doesn't do anything anymore apparently. I've lost dozens of sessions due to either a bug or recent updates, but either way this is bullshit.

- Noté 1 sur 5par Painexotic, il y a 2 moisGarbage. Stopped working months ago. Literally never saves tabs. Don't waste your time. It also randomly deletes your sessions. Don't be tricked by the good reviews btw. They're old reviews from years ago when it actually worked.

- Noté 2 sur 5par dankini, il y a 2 moisMisiing the main feature I was looking for - namely support for FF's tab groups. It seems the Chrome version has it. Please add functionality for FF.

This addon saved my life already once - and its a good reminder to clear my tabs everytime save enother session with 900 tabs :O - Noté 5 sur 5par walkingice, il y a 2 moisby using this add-on, I could safely close lots of tabs after working, and restore those tabs in next day. Love it!
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 19141042 de Firefox, il y a 3 moisVery good tool to save, manage and edit sessions for later use, much more clear oversight than all those tab grouping functions or add ons!
Pay attention: I recommend disabling the "auto save" feature in the settings, because otherwise your library will overflow and be incredibly difficult to manage. Save sessions manually, or when you close your browser! - Noté 2 sur 5par Nata K, il y a 3 moisIt has many features... but lacks the most important one: it saves open sessions as new ones, not updates them!!
Still cannot find a replacement for the old good Sync Tab Groups........ :'( This one is NOT. - Noté 5 sur 5par XjSv, il y a 3 mois
- Noté 5 sur 5par Franz, il y a 3 moisDoes an excellent job saving tabs. I wish it would include saving tab-groups in Firefox as well.
